Shipping/Customs Switzerland (DAP)

Scope

These terms apply to orders delivered to Switzerland. Different rules apply to other countries.

​

Delivery Terms – Incoterms® 2020

  • DAP – Delivered At Place (named place: per the Swiss delivery address).

  • We cover transport costs up to the named place.

  • Import charges (customs duties, import VAT/MWST) and any clearance/disbursement fees are payable by the consignee.

Customs & Import Charges

  • The Swiss customs authority levies VAT (MWST) on import and may also charge customs duties.

  • Our carrier (e.g., DHL Express) may charge customs clearance and disbursement/advancement fees.

  • The amount depends on the goods value, customs tariff (HS code), country of origin, and shipping costs.

  • Charges are typically collected by the carrier before or upon delivery.

Customs Documents
We provide a commercial invoice stating: precise goods description, HS code, country of origin, quantity/unit, value & currency, and Incoterms® 2020: DAP (named place). Where applicable, we include preferential origin statements.

Delivery & Delays

  • The consignee will receive a notification to pay any due charges online.

  • Customs inspections or missing/late payments can extend transit times.

  • Please ensure the address, email, and phone number are correct.

Non-Acceptance / Undeliverable Shipments

  • If a shipment is returned due to non-payment of import charges, refusal, or incorrect address data, return freight, any storage/clearance fees, and re-delivery costs are borne by the buyer.

  • Any refund, if agreed, will be issued minus incurred costs.

DDP on Request
Delivery DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) is available only by prior arrangement. Please contact us before ordering.
